What types of photography do you offer?
1
I’m based in Cranleigh on the Surrey/ West Sussex border between Guildford and Horsham and my studios are in that area. I travel all over the South East though and regularly shoot in London, Berkshire, Hampshire and Kent
Is your photography studio near me?
2
Business headshots at my studio in Cranleigh or on site at your business are £95 with one final image included. Actor/Performer headshot sessions include 6 final images for £149
How much does a headshot session cost in Surrey?
3
I always prioritise quality over quantity but there are some sessions that are more efficient for getting a variety of images for a reasonable price. Check out my personal branding sessions or my Brand Partners Scheme https://www.siantphoto.com/brand-partners
How can I get all the photos I need, cheaply?
4
Generally no, but you do get a license to use the images that will cover 99% of what people want to to with their images. If you do want to buy the copyright, that can be arranged but there will be a significant additional charge
Do I own the copyright on images I pay you to take?
5
Yes absolutely! I work with a variety of local models and also with several model agencies with models ranging from £200 per day
Can you help me find models for my shoot?
6
Maybe! If your shoot is creative and adds something to my portfolio then it may be possible to work on a collaborative/expenses only basis. But if you have a very specific brief with a requirement for a large amount of images and they are purely for advertising purposes then no - that will be a paid for shoot.
7
Will you do my shoot for free?
Yes! The editing process is as much part of the image making process as capturing the image on the camera. As a minimum all images are balanced and styled to complete my vision for them and then, if needed they may be retouched to remove distractions or blemishes that compromise that vision. In general my editing is pretty light touch - you’ll find no plastic looking skin or heavy edits that make you look like a totally different person here! Check out my responsible editing approach here
8
Do you edit your photos?
Will you give me the raw files?
9
Generally no, you’ll be provided with high resolution JPEG files of your images.
In some circumstances it is possible to provide even larger TIFF files which might be required if you are planning to edit your own images or send them out to a third party retoucher. This provision comes at an additional cost.
If you really mean you want unedited images so you can edit them yourself - then I’m not the photographer for you. This wouldn’t be providing images that are up to the standard of my finished work and I don’t do it.
